During Poly Group w udevelopment and reform conference”, group leaders and outside Board Directors met with Ma Yun, chairman of Alibaba Group and his managing staff. Members from the Supervisory board of SASAC, director chief of Group departments and managing staff of subsidiaries attended the meeting.
After introduction of Alibaba’s developing process, business scope and strategic planning, both sides had a full exchange on Alibaba’s financial industry development and strategic implementation, as well as the potential cooperative fields.
Chairman Xu Niansha of Poly Group indicated at the end of the meeting that, Poly should learn from Alibaba in terms of strategic development, brand operation, personnel training and enterprise culture although there was a gap on the company governance and decision-making process due to the difference of Alibaba’s role as a world famous private company and Poly as a state-owned enterprise.
